About
Who am I?
I am a twenty year old undergraduate computer science student living in the South West of the United Kingdom, in a city called Exeter. I am studying at the University of Exeter in the School of Engineering, Computing, and Mathematics (SECaM). I am originally from South Gloucestershire, north of Bristol, where I have lived all my life. I have relatives in the North East, Gateshead-upon-Type more specifically; and in the South East, London in fact. I attended Marlwood School and Sixth Form, for both my compulsory secondary education and advanced level studies.
What is this place?
I have been running my weblog for a little over two years now, and find it an interesting way to record my thoughts and share them with the world. I have never been good at keeping a diary, this is no exception, but it is substantially better maintained at any diary I have ever tried to keep.
Interests
I enjoy rock climbing, canoeing, walking, fencing and swimming; but just never find myself with the time or motivation to go when I get the opportunity, I guess you could say I like the outdoors (I do love to go camping.) I love listening to music, I am very much a Rock fan, with a great swing both ways, I will listen to other stuff but not usually by choice. I do like to watch a good film, cinema trips are good, DVD nights are quite fun too, series marathons are insanely fun! Another thing I have started playing again is pool, I find it most enjoyable. Computing is anther one of my interests, unsurprisingly.
Projects
I have been an active member of a number of projects over the years, some of which are defunct now and no longer grace the Earth with their presence. I am currently contributing to phpBB as a member of their development team. I am also actively involved in my universities student media website – X-Media Online.
